NEW WAY TO CONTROL YACHT REFIT

DFD proud to introduce new Interactive Weekly Reporting system as additional service to our Customers.

We have had a productive week on board with Certified Diesel completing Main Engine items other than start ups and tests which will need to be completed in water after launch.

The fuel day tank has been blasted clean, and fuel lines to start next week.

The water maker has been disassembled and the crew are working on the cleaning and painting of the water maker framing.

The deck crew have continued with deck locker inspections, inventory and detailing. Exterior paint touch ups continue around the vessel. Exterior varnish work has been completed. Annual inspections of fire and safety equipment.

Interior crew have continued with inventory, organizing, cleaning, daily boat interior and condo maintenance. Interior finish touch ups through out continue in all required guest areas.

 

Engine room:

  • Detailing of lazarette technical spaces continued
  • Certified Diesel continue with assembly of main engines
  • Finished with disassembly of water makers. Crew start water maker frame refurbishment and painting
  • Clean lubrication oil hose reel, fire extinguisher hose holder and portable fire extinguisher removed
  • Serviced grey water pump fitment
  • Fuel day tank sand blast preparation: Fuel day tank emergency shut down valve, fuel level indicator and pressure sensor, fuel lines removed. Setting up piping and building of protective tenting around day tank
  • Fire- and bilge pump strainer housing cleaning
  • Sea chests removal for maintenance

Deck:

  • Continued maintenance of vessel cleanliness
  • Continued work cleaning out deck lockers and re-organizing
  • Annual inspections of safety gear (extinguishers, EEBD’s, SCBA, Lifejackets, etc)
  • During inspection process, cleaning of all safety gear
  • Installation of new SSB antenna to replace the one that got decimated by the lightning strike
  • Finished with on board varnish work, tents removed, deck overheads reinstalled (crew)
  • Continued work on paint repairs around vessel (slow due to rain!)
  • Wash down of waterline around hull & apply paint protection to aft sponsons

Interior:

  • Replacement of the washer/dryer in the condo
  • Continuing wood touch up in guest area
  • Cleaning and organizing crew area cupboards and cabinets
  • Organizing medical locker and checking expiry dates of medications
  • Continue inventorying, organizing, stains checking, stitching table linen
  • Trays inventory and organizing
  • Cleaning, organizing, inventorying candle holders/vases cupboards
  • Taking Main Salon Clock for service
  • Rope lights leading to master bedroom repaired
  • Daily cleaning, detailing of the boat/condo

Shafts Delivered and installed

New shafts delivered and installed, old shafts removed

Swim Platform Repair

Swim platform repairs been done during past two weeks including teak repairs and hydraulic leaks fix

Anchor strike plates polished

Anchor strike plates polished by yard during past week. Anchors chain marks painted by crew. Anchors installed

Twin Cabin beds

Twin cabin beds installed. Mattresses scheduled for delivery next week

Scaffolding erected

Scaffolding installed. Next week scheduled paint tent installation

Stabilizer foundation repairs

Stabilizer foundation reinforcement and bad steel replacement started past week. Projection time for completion 3 weeks
