Following in the footsteps of my seventh generation Seaman’s dynasty, I embarked in the studies of
engineering. With a master’s degree in Navigation at Sea science, I now have acquired over 150,000 nautical miles of experience in the course of years at sea. I am a licensed STCW Master unlimited and as a deck officer in a merchant fleet transporting crude oil, I have visited over 50 countries. As a result, I found myself with a growing desire to continue enhancing my knowledge in the field of engineering; now in the private sector of the super yacht industry. The yacht industry has enabled me to put in the forefront my engineering skills. I worked as a chief engineer on a super yacht for 2 years in East coast of US and the Caribbean. This led me to a shift in my career towards a shore-based area in this field.
Starting a position as a yacht manager from 2012 to the current present. Closely working with the clients, Class and authorities, and Shipyards, With the task of monitoring and assigning the proper budget and schedules, in order to meet the highest quality level of work.
I have successfully completed over 25 projects in my seven years of experience as a technical superintendent managing small fleets and super yacht refit projects on major shipyards in the south of Florida and Europe.
